The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brandy lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Brandy looks to land a combination but Leone avoids it well.
Leone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice sprawl there from Brandy as Leone shoots in.
We've been informed that Leone has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Leone shoots in looking for a takedown. Brandy tries to sprawl out of it but Leone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brandy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rubicon Brandy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Leone.
Leone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brandy.

Leone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brandy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brandy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Leone.

Brandy closes the distance and clinches up with Leone, looking for a takedown. Brandy pushes Leone against the cage but Leone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leone walks into a straight right hand from Brandy.
Brandy tests Leone's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Leone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brandy pinned against the cage. Brandy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brandy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Rubicon Brandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandy scores with a push kick.
Brandy cracks Leone with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brandy enables Leone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brandy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Brandy pushes a forearm under Leone's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Leone is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
