Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ed Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arturo Vidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ed Karate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arturo Vidal!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karate stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karate wants it to stay on the feet.
Vidal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karate pinned against the cage. Karate gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vidal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vidal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Karate.
Karate tries to land a body kick

and Vidal moves into the clinch.

Karate is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vidal can't fight it off and eventually Karate manages to take the fight to the floor. Vidal looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vidal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karate. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Karate lands a couple of digs.

Karate lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Karate lands a couple of elbows.
Karate's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Vidal looking for a sweep. Not yet Vidal, not yet.
Karate landing some decent shots from guard.
Vidal can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Karate controls the pace.
Karate has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Karate sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vidal's guard.

Karate lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Karate landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Vidal is looking for a sweep. Karate is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Karate lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Karate connects with a nice short shot to Vidal's temple.
Vidal is trying to get back to full guard.

Karate is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Karate moves nicely into side control.

Vidal is letting Karate control him for a moment.
Karate's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Karate seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Vidal for as long as he can get away with.
Karate has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vidal!

Karate looking to finish Vidal with some ground and pound. This is bad for Vidal!
Karate takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Karate lands a big shot there that rocks Vidal but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Vidal is still in real trouble! Can Karate finish him?
BOOM! Karate connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Karate looking to control and managing it successfully.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Karate! Vidal is out cold! This one is all over!
