Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liu Bei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent has chosen Rooster by Alice In Chains as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bei showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kent.
Kent throws a body punch but Bei moves out of range.
Kent misses with a jab, cross combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kent.
Bei thows a body shot but no joy.
Kent takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bei misses with a kick to the body.
Bei leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kent tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bei swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kent tries to bum rush Bei with a series of wild strikes but Bei uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice defenses there by Kent.

Bei scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bei tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kent can do anything to dispel that myth.
