Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aleksei Kruschev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dusty Aguas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruschev's entrance music is Shout at the Devil by Motley Crue. A fine choice. Aguas has chosen Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kruschev shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kruschev showed some decent athleticism there. Kruschev seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kruschev trying to control from half guard but Aguas is working away. Aguas is pressing down on Kruschev's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Aguas wants to get back to his feet but Kruschev is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Aguas pulls Kruschev in close to prevent any damage. Kruschev looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aguas keeping moving, preventing Kruschev from controlling successfully. Aguas wants to sweep here but Kruschev controlling him for the moment. Aguas wriggles free and stands up. Kruschev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kruschev closes the distance and clinches. Kruschev stalling against the cage.
Kruschev jumps guard but Aguas stands there with Kruschev around his waist. Kruschev gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aguas lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Kruschev tries to pull guard but Aguas holds him up against the cage and eventually Kruschev drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksei Kruschev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kruschev misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kruschev makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Aguas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kruschev smiles and moves away.
Aguas looks gassed! A punch combination from Aguas misses. Aguas explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Kruschev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kruschev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kruschev lands in his opponent's guard. Aguas wriggles free and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruschev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Aguas tries to improve position but can't. Aguas is not content to let Kruschev control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kruschev just content to control the position. Aguas tries to improve position but can't. Aguas isn't going anywhere. Aguas is trying to control Kruschev's posture but Kruschev avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguas sneaks out the side door and pushes Kruschev away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Aguas looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Aguas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aguas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kruschev, up you get! Excellent takedown into side control there by Aguas. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aguas passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kruschev! Kruschev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kruschev is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dusty Aguas will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Kruschev gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Kruschev throws and elbow that misses. Aguas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kruschev's guard. Nice move by Aguas! Kruschev not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Aguas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kruschev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Aguas preventing the sweep. Kruschev pulls Aguas in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguas is breathing heavily. Aguas is looking to stand up but Kruschev won't let him. Kruschev looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kruschev misses with a takedown attempt and Aguas counters by moving into the clinch. Kruschev wants to stall.
Kruschev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aguas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kruschev tries to score a body lock takedown but Aguas shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksei Kruschev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kruschev. Aguas jumps guard but Kruschev stands there with Aguas around his waist. Aguas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A short left from Kruschev. Kruschev wants the takedown. Aguas is fighting it off but Kruschev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Aguas's guard against the cage. Kruschev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aguas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kruschev trying to control the position from guard on top but Aguas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Aguas has control of Kruschev's left arm, preventing Kruschev from doing any damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Aguas chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruschev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aguas. Aguas has Kruschev up against the cage in a clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Aguas throws an elbow but misses. Kruschev trying to stall but Aguas improves his position.
Kruschev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aguas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Aguas gets caught flat footed, as Kruschev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kruschev has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aguas is proving hard to escape from. Aguas looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Aguas pushes Kruschev off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguas takes the fight into the clinch. Aguas lands an elbow that stopped Kruschev in his tracks for a moment. Kruschev wants to get back to striking at distance but Aguas won't allow it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksei Kruschev dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Aguas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kruschev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kruschev sitting and controlling from the half guard. Kruschev is looking to take a break and control but Aguas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Aguas takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kruschev is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kruschev is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruschev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Aguas trying to hold on to Kruschev's head to control him but Kruschev postures up.

Aguas decides to stand up. Kruschev gets caught flat footed, as Aguas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kruschev trying to keep a closed guard but Aguas is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aguas chips away with some ground and pound. Aguas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kruschev is keeping the position for now. Aguas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Aguas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kruschev, up you get! Kruschev doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aguas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kruschev's guard now. Aguas preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aguas trying to control the position from guard on top but Kruschev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruschev not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Aguas gets to his feet. Kruschev looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kruschev misses with a takedown attempt and Aguas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aleksei Kruschev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kruschev wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Dusty Aguas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Aguas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
