The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares shoots in for a double leg but Lemnosia sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lemnosia takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tavares tries to clinch but Lemnosia is having none of it.
Tavares has his takedown stuffed
and Lemnosia holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lemnosia jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tavares walks away with a smile on his face. Lemnosia gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tavares has managed to clinch.

Tavares is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lemnosia has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lemnosia!
