Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Froila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mama comes to the cage accompanied by The Riddle. Geronimo Froila will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Froila tries to clinch up.
Froila looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mama rushes Froila and presses him up against the cage.
Mama manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mama turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mama manages to end up in side control.

Froila darts in trying to clinch
and Mama counters with a single leg into guard. Froila didn't expect that.
Mama gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Froila moves in looking to clinch but Mama pushes him off.

Mama throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Froila's waist but Froila gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mama off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mama's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mama, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
