Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chief Tango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larry Guy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tango shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guy pinned against the cage. Guy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Guy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Guy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Tango is not content to let Guy control the position.
Guy is staying tight to Tango's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Guy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tango is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Guy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The fight stays on the outside here - Guy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tango tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guy swivels and escapes.
Tango is breathing heavily.
Guy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tango sprawls well. Tango wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guy gets slowly back to his feet.
Guy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tango's waist but Tango gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guy off to one side.
Chief Tango has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Guy.
Guy thuds a left hand into Tango's body.
Guy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Guy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Guy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Larry Guy.

Guy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tango manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tango is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guy scores with a couple of nice shots.

Larry Guy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Guy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tango is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Guy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Guy's back!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tango is not going to allow Guy to sit and survive in this position.
Guy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tango haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Tango's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Tango slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Tango is trying to stick to Guy's back but Guy is turning into Tango. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tango's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Guy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tango has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Tango's legs - danger averted.

Larry Guy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Guy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
