Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Gompka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Exlax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vincent Gompka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Richard Exlax! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gompka shoots in and bounces Exlax off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Exlax throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gompka postures up.
Exlax looking for a guillotine here but Gompka defends easily.
Gompka is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Gompka chips away with some ground and pound. Exlax is looking for a triangle but Gompka pushes his legs off easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gompka working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Exlax working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gompka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gompka manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Exlax wants to stand and escape but Gompka is having none of it. Gompka missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gompka with a flurry of punches that miss. Gompka wants to control from the top but Exlax keeps moving. Gompka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gompka throwing strikes but missing. Gompka trying to control the position from guard on top but Exlax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gompka lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gompka throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gompka working some strikes from top position. Exlax looking to control.
Exlax is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gompka trying to control the position from guard on top but Exlax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gompka landing some decent shots from guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gompka pushes down on Exlax's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gompka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Exlax's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Exlax keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gompka with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Exlax is trying to maintain the position but Gompka is very close to passing his half guard. Gompka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gompka stops Exlax from getting back to his feet.

Vincent Gompka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Gompka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Exlax shoots in and bounces Gompka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Exlax trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Exlax has gone for a leg lock! Gompka slips out almost immediately though and dives into Exlax's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Exlax has his foot on Gompka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gompka works his way back into a safe position though. Gompka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Exlax has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gompka has managed to get both his arms back between Exlax's legs - danger averted. Gompka scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Exlax keeping moving, preventing Gompka from controlling successfully. Gompka with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Gompka stands up over Exlax, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Exlax not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gompka postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Exlax looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gompka is one step ahead there. Gompka loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vincent Gompka dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Exlax is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gompka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Exlax tries to clinch there but Gompka circles away.

Gompka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Exlax had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gompka defends it easily. Gompka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gompka looking to pass the guard. Gompka looking to sit in guard and control but Exlax gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gompka trying to keep a closed guard but Exlax is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gompka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Exlax has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gompka is proving hard to escape from.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Vincent Gompka just wasn't active enough. Gompka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gompka scores with a takedown into Exlax's guard. Gompka lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gompka landing with the ground and pound. Exlax controlling Gompka's posture. Gompka trying to control but Exlax is working from the bottom. Gompka is working Exlax over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Exlax preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gompka avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Gompka seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Exlax wants to sweep here but Gompka controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Exlax has a closed guard, preventing Gompka from standing up. Vincent Gompka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Exlax isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gompka stacks Exlax on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gompka! Gompka creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Exlax tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gompka wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Exlax is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gompka's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Well, if Gompka is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Exlax slips under a jab. Vincent Gompka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Exlax uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gompka.

Exlax fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice takedown defense from Gompka. No joy for Exlax on that attempt. Vincent Gompka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Exlax. Gompka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Exlax scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Exlax is trying to control. Gompka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gompka. Exlax does a little dance to reset his feet. Danga de danga de dang - Gompka scores with a four punch combination! Exlax staying out of range there. Exlax defending well as Gompka loads up on a big left hand. Gompka thuds a left hand into Exlax's body. Gompka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gompka is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Exlax's half guard. Exlax wants to get back to full guard. Gompka missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gompka landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Exlax pushes Gompka off looking to stand but Gompka dives back in and keeps control.
Exlax takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gompka is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Gompka throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Exlax to regain full guard. Gompka trying to control the position from guard on top but Exlax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Exlax working for a triangle but Gompka defends it easily.
Gompka trying to stand up but can't free himself from Exlax's guard. Exlax is working an open guard so Gompka takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gompka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gompka swats away the attempt to clinch by Exlax. Gompka thuds a left hand into Exlax's body. Nice combo by Gompka! Oh, that's hurt him - Exlax falls to the canvas and Gompka follows him into side control.

It looks like Richard Exlax has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gompka cracks Exlax with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Gompka immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Exlax is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Gompka!
