The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boorg shoots in looking for a takedown but Kumsaloti manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boorg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kumsaloti misses the jab.
Kumsaloti stuffs the takedown.
Boorg swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kumsaloti counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boorg has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Boorg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boorg thows a body shot but no joy.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Boorg, right into the meat.

Boorg throws a body punch but Kumsaloti moves out of range.
Kumsaloti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Boorg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kumsaloti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boorg takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A jab from Kumsaloti misses.
Kumsaloti connects with a leg kick. Boorg looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A swing and a miss from Kumsaloti.
Joseph Boorg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kumsaloti throws a hook but Boorg avoids it easily.
Boorg is looking to land body kicks.
Boorg misses with a body shot
and Kumsaloti counters with a nice right hand that sends Boorg toppling to the canvas! Boorg scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kumsaloti finish him?!
Boorg is rocked!
