The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tennant pinned against the cage. Tennant gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tennant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tennant misses with a body shot.
Crowe shoots for a double leg takedown but Tennant sprawls well. He's pushed Crowe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looks like Harlan Crowe has been cut.
Crowe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tennant.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Crowe.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Crowe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tennant was covering up waiting for the punch and Crowe finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crowe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Crowe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Crowe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crowe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
