3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Donald Diaz! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Crusoe.
Donald Diaz connects with a looping right hand.
Crusoe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Donald Diaz's head. An inside leg kick lands from Crusoe. Crusoe gets caught napping as Donald Diaz dives in and scores a takedown. Crusoe manages to retain guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Donald Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Crusoe is adopting a defensive guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Donald Diaz throwing strikes but missing.

Donald Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Donald Diaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Crusoe is looking to control Donald Diaz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crusoe avoid being mounted? Donald Diaz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Donald Diaz thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Crusoe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Donald Diaz. Donald Diaz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Crusoe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Donald Diaz. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Donald Diaz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Crusoe defending well though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crusoe is looking to control Donald Diaz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crusoe avoid being mounted? Donald Diaz throwing shots but Crusoe is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donald Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Crusoe. Crusoe lands a head shot. Donald Diaz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crusoe sprawls well initially but Donald Diaz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Crusoe trying to get back to full guard but Donald Diaz takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Donald Diaz is landing with some decent strikes but Crusoe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Donald Diaz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Crusoe's face.
It looks like Robbie Crusoe has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crusoe is looking to get to half guard. Donald Diaz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donald Diaz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crusoe holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Donald Diaz tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Crusoe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donald Diaz on the ground.
