Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Morris McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonka has chosen Mr Rotten Treats - Insane Clown Posse as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Morris McDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Willy Wonka! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wonka looks to score with a jab to the body but McDonald is just out of range. Wonka looks to land a left hand but McDonald moved out of range nicely. Wonka takes a swing at McDonald's ribcage but misses. Wonka misses with a straight left. Wonka lands a nice shot to the body.
McDonald moves out of range of the strikes. McDonald takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Wonka pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wonka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonald uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wonka.
Wonka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDonald was well out of range. Poor timing from Wonka. Wonka swings for the body but McDonald moves out of range.
Wonka throws a looping overhand right but McDonald ducks down to avoid it. Wonka tests McDonald's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wonka swings for the body but McDonald moves out of range.

and McDonald counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wonka throws a shot from downtown. McDonald moves away and avoids it. Wonka pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wonka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McDonald is rocked! Wonka misses with a straight right. Oh McDonald is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wonka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and McDonald counters with a left to the body. McDonald seems to have got his legs back now. McDonald misses with an uppercut. Willy Wonka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wonka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A big left from Wonka misses. McDonald scores with a jab. A punch lands to the side of McDonald 's head but he takes it in his stride. Willy Wonka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A left lands for Wonka.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McDonald throws a right and a left that Wonka avoids nicely. A jab from Wonka finds it's way through McDonald's defenses. McDonald drops his hands momentarily and Wonka takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wonka thows a body shot but no joy. McDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. McDonald closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wonka quickly recovers to half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Wonka tries to kick McDonald off but McDonald keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wonka tries to roll over but McDonald keeps him under control. McDonald is nestled in close to Wonka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonald is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wonka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McDonald. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wonka missing with punches from the bottom.
McDonald trying to pass the guard but Wonka defending well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McDonald connects with a nice short shot to Wonka's temple. Nice strikes from McDonald there. Wonka wants to improve his position but McDonald is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wonka is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McDonald's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McDonald's back! McDonald is covering up but some of the strikes from Wonka are getting through and doing damage.
McDonald tries to roll but Wonka sticks to his back.
Wonka working for a choke but McDonald is defending well. McDonald avoids the strikes from Wonka.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McDonald trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McDonald breaks Wonka's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
McDonald preventing the sweep. McDonald trying to control the position from guard on top but Wonka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wonka is on top in guard.
Wonka wants to stand but McDonald has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonald looking to control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wonka throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wonka is in close to McDonald's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wonka trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McDonald with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Wonka can't handle though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice cross by Wonka. McDonald takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Willy Wonka seems to be getting the better of the standup. and McDonald cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A momentary lapse in concentration from Wonka enables McDonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wonka manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wonka tries to land a sweep but no joy. McDonald trying to control but Wonka is working from the bottom. Wonka wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonald sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wonka's guard. Wonka wants to control but McDonald is keeping busy and won't allow it. McDonald thows a huge punch but Wonka dodges it nicely.
Wonka wants to get back to full guard. McDonald lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wonka gets back to full guard.
Wonka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McDonald wants to control from the top but Wonka keeps moving. McDonald slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wonka is trying to get back to half guard. Wonka is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wonka is trying to get back to half guard. McDonald is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wonka knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. McDonald landing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wonka is looking for a sweep. Wonka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McDonald creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. McDonald content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wonka tries to improve position but can't.

Wonka pushes down on McDonald's head and hops out. Wonka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonald throws a body punch but Wonka moves out of range. McDonald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wonka manages to avoid it. McDonald misses with a few strikes there.
McDonald shoots in and drives through. Wonka sprawls well. McDonald moves out of range of the strikes. Wonka lands a nice shot that snaps McDonald's head back.

A big right from Wonka misses. McDonald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wonka's waist but Wonka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDonald off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morris McDonald. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wonka throws a shot from downtown. McDonald moves away and avoids it. Wonka scores with a body shot.

Nice straight punches there by Wonka. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wonka. Wonka bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Wonka misses the target. Wonka misses with an uppercut. Wonka throws out a loose jab but McDonald uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice defenses there by McDonald. Wonka misses with a right hand and McDonald connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and McDonald counters with a nice body shot. Wonka misses with a wild body shot. McDonald clobbers Wonka with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wonka just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Wonka misses. Wonka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McDonald keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
