Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AB CD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Fuente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, AB CD! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joao Fuente! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CD moves into range and clinches up with Fuente. CD misses with a knee strike.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from CD. CD pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. CD rushes Fuente and presses him up against the cage. CD pulls Fuente into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fuente stopping the sweep attempt from CD. CD utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fuente wants to control from the top but CD keeps moving. CD keeping full guard, as Fuente tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuente is looking to work some ground and pound but CD has wrist control. CD has an active guard here but Fuente has managed to pass into half guard.
CD is not content to let Fuente control the position. CD wants to get back to full guard. CD might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fuente is trying to control. CD wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fuente prevents CD from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuente is keen to just control but CD is a slippery customer.
Joao Fuente has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. No luck for Fuente with that takedown attempt. A head kick misses from CD. CD feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fuente keeping full guard, as CD tries to pass. Fuente trying to control the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joao Fuente hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. CD throws a right and a left that Fuente avoids nicely. CD throws a head kick that misses. Fuente tries to sprawl but CD drives through with a takedown into half guard. CD is breathing heavily. Fuente tries to get to full guard but CD has control of the leg. CD throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuente manages to get to full guard.
CD trying to control but Fuente is working from the bottom. Fuente not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AB CD dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fuente shoots in but CD avoids the takedown attempt easily. CD dives in and scores a takedown into Fuente's guard. CD content to stall in guard here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of AB CD. CD looking to score a takedown here. Fuente is defending well but CD drives through and ends up in Fuente's guard. CD is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fuente looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuente being controlled here, momentarily. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fuente controls CD momentarily but CD frees himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Joao Fuente was stalling too much, according to the referee. CD stuffs the takedown. CD shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fuente is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. CD sitting in guard, not really doing much.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. CD swings and misses with a hook to the body.
CD misses with a head kick.
CD works over Fuente's head and body with a nice combination. AB CD seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuente gets caught napping as CD dives in and scores a takedown. Fuente manages to retain guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fuente wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and CD is now in half guard. Fuente regains full guard. Nicely done. Fuente keeping moving, preventing CD from controlling successfully. Fuente looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

AB CD dominated that second round. That's time! CD's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
CD shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. CD is figuring out what he wants to do next. CD trying to advance position but Fuente counters by regaining guard. CD trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. CD is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. CD tries to stand but Fuente is controlling from the bottom.

AB CD overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fuente avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. He's pushed Fuente's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fuente shoots in but no luck this time. CD scores with a takedown into Fuente's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. CD looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fuente keeping moving, preventing CD from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fuente is trying to control the position but CD postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

CD stuffs the takedown. AB CD has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Fuente. CD gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fuente is fighting off a takedown attempt but CD is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fuente to the mat. Fuente regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. CD looking to pass the guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fuente controls CD momentarily but CD frees himself.
And that's the end of the fight! AB CD showed his dominance in that final round. Well CD has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
