Doorman comes to the cage accompanied by Gold Halo-The Datsuns. James Te Huna is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Doorman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Te Huna! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doorman looks for the body kick but Te Huna saw that one coming. Te Huna lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Doorman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A left and a right from Te Huna both land. Nice combination. Doorman takes a swing at Te Huna's ribcage but misses. Doorman misses the jab. Te Huna misses with a combination
and Doorman moves into the clinch. Te Huna is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Doorman is defending well. Doorman landing some nice looking knees to the body.

He has Te Huna in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Te Huna has Doorman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Doorman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Paul Doorman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Te Huna. Doorman is working Te Huna over against the cage. Doorman lands a good knee to the midsection. Te Huna won't want to take too many of those. Te Huna looks winded! Doorman crunches a lovely knee into Te Huna's ribcage. Doorman manages to break the clinch.
Te Huna takes a jab right on the kisser.
Doorman throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. The fighters circle, before Doorman throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Te Huna's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Doorman lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Paul Doorman! Paul Doorman retains his light heavyweight title! Paul Doorman tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
