The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steiner shoots in and bounces Guzman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Guzman has a closed guard, preventing Steiner from standing up.
Steiner wants to stand and escape but instead Guzman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Guzman won't allow Steiner to get back to his feet.
Steiner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guzman forces his way into half guard.

Guzman is looking for a kimura but Steiner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guzman to get the leverage.

Guzman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steiner is just riding it out for now. Guzman eventually gives up the hold.
