Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steely Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuhiro Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kazuhiro Jung was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steely Dan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuhiro Jung!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jung throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Horrible takedown by Jung or perhaps it was just good defense by Dan which made him look bad.
Dan slips a jab and a cross from Jung.
Dan clinches.
Jung drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Steely Dan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuhiro Jung.
Jung gets tackled into the cage by Dan. Dan maintains the clinch.
Jung is trying to push Dan away but Dan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jung trying to control the position but instead, Dan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jung into the cage.
Jung pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dan pulls guard successfully.
Dan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dan is looking for a triangle but Jung pushes his legs off easily.
Dan wants to stand up but Jung is controlling him.
Dan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Jung stays in close to Dan's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jung passes into half guard.
Dan is controlling Jung's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Jung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dan keeps working.
Jung is looking to stall here but Dan recovers full guard.
Jung is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Jung decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dan, up you get!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Jung does no damage.
Jung thows a body kick. Dan tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jung looks to land a body kick but Dan moved away.
Jung drives through and clinches with Dan against the cage.
Dan breaks the clinch.
Dan lands a big head kick that sends Jung tumbling to the mat! Dan takes a step backwards and waves Jung back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jung is rocked!
It looks like Kazuhiro Jung has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dan shoots for a double leg takedown but Jung sprawls well. He's pushed Dan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jung is still on wobbly legs! Can Dan finish him?
Dan dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Jung has had enough and taps out.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Steely Dan!
After the fight, Steely Dan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
