This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eagle tries to throw a body punch but Asanov avoids it by throwing Eagle back against the cage.

Eagle clobbers Asanov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Asanov darts in and clinches Eagle up against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Eagle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Asanov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Asanov is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Asanov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Asanov cracks Eagle with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Eagle tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Asanov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Eagle is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Guljigit Asanov!

Guljigit Asanov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
