Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete The Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sin's entrance music is Don't stop. A fine choice. Lee Sin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lee Sin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pete The Great!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sin tries to clinch there but The Great circles away.

Sin moves into the clinch successfully.
The Great tries for a takedown but Sin manages to get underhooks.

Sin has hold of one of The Great's legs. The Great is fighting the takedown attempt but Sin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from The Great.
The Great cracks Sin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Sin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sin doesn't manage to clinch there - The Great circles away.

Horrible takedown by The Great or perhaps it was just good defense by Sin which made him look bad.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Great changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sin tries to avoid it but The Great manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sin to the ground. Sin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The Great shoots in for a double leg but Sin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lee Sin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pete The Great.

The Great is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lee Sin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sin connects with a nice short shot to The Great's temple.

Sin cracks The Great with a big right hand but The Great just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Sin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down The Great's shoulder. That is not cool.

No joy there for Sin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking cross lands there for The Great.
The Great tries to bum rush Sin with a series of wild strikes but Sin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sin there as he acknowledges the shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The Great stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The Great throws an elbow that misses. Sin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in The Great's guard. Nice move by Sin!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now The Great is on top in guard.
The Great loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Sin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Sin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, The Great asserts his dominance and retains side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sin keeps The Great under control for a moment.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Sin.
Well Sin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
