Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Faudree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faudree throws a nice looking combination but Thomas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Faudree throws a head kick that Thomas semi-blocks.

Faudree is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Thomas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Faudree swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Thomas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Faudree manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thomas has Faudree in his guard.
Thomas wriggles free and stands up.
Faudree fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thomas.
Faudree looks to land a combination but Thomas avoids it well.
Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Faudree is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Faudree throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thomas counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dylan Faudree seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Steven Thomas will probably get the nod.

Faudree goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Thomas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Thomas has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Faudree regains guard immediately.

Thomas lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Thomas.
Thomas is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Faudree is defending well though. Thomas let's go of the attempt for now.
Faudree is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Thomas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Faudree has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Faudree tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thomas swivels and escapes.

Thomas tries to bum rush Faudree with a series of wild strikes but Faudree uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
