Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Washington Moses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Haggen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Washington Moses! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Haggen! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moses shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haggen pinned against the cage. Haggen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Moses throws a low kick but it's checked well by Haggen. Moses takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Haggen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moses on his heels. He'll look to pass Moses's guard now, I'm sure. Moses can't keep his opponent in guard - Haggen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Haggen is nestled in close to Moses, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Haggen is looking for a kimura but Moses is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Haggen to get the leverage. Moses avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Haggen. Moses actively working from the bottom here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moses works his way to full guard. Good work. Haggen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Haggen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Haggen scoring with punches to the head and body. Moses looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haggen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haggen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Haggen landing some decent shots from guard. Haggen preventing the sweep. Moses avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Haggen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Moses manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Haggen has Moses in his guard. Moses engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Moses decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Haggen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Moses sees it coming and avoids it easily. Haggen lands with an overhand left. This has been an exciting period of action! Haggen is looking to chop away at Moses's legs. Haggen connects with a right hand. Moses shakes it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haggen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Moses shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Haggen as he avoids it easily. Haggen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moses defends it nicely. Lou Haggen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haggen throws a nice looking combination but Moses bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A bone on bone clash there as Moses blocks the leg kick.
Haggen closes the distance and clinches. Moses is trying to pull guard but Haggen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Washington Moses. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moses misses with a hook from the clinch. Moses looking for a takedown. Moses is defending well against a takedown attempt. Haggen digs a right hand underneath Moses's ribcage. Moses let out a lung full of air as it connected. Moses drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Haggen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Moses wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haggen tries for a takedown but Moses manages to get underhooks.
Haggen has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moses clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Haggen is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Moses tries to escape but Haggen has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Haggen.
Haggen is landing with strikes. Moses can't take much more of this. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moses is in bad spot here.
Haggen misses with punches from the back. Moses preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Haggen. You can see the frustration on Moses's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moses just trying to survive but Haggen is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Moses tries to roll but Haggen sticks to his back.
Haggen is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Moses is trying to defend against the choke here but Haggen has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Haggen Tightens the hold and Moses taps out furiously! Haggen displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lou Haggen! A relieved looking Lou Haggen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
