Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Redyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Red Redyan! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson stuns Redyan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Johnson has closed the distance and engaged Redyan in a clinch.
Redyan jumps into guard, dragging Johnson to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Johnson wants to stand but Redyan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Johnson throwing strikes from guard but Redyan blocks nicely. Johnson slips nicely into half guard. Redyan wants to get back to full guard. Johnson drops an elbow to the side of Redyan's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Redyan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Johnson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Redyan gets back to full guard.
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Redyan is proving hard to escape from. Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Redyan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redyan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Redyan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Johnson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Redyan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Redyan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Redyan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Johnson is aware though and is defending well. Johnson throws a big right hand that misses. Johnson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Redyan's guard. Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Redyan has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
