Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rowdy Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ratrick Obeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rowdy Nickoson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rowdy Nickoson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ratrick Obeh! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nickoson thows a body shot but no joy. Obeh lands a glancing blow to the side of Nickoson's head. Obeh connects with an inside leg kick. Obeh throws a leg kick which misses Nickoson's front leg but catches the back leg as Nickoson tries to avoid it. Nickoson throws a combination that misses and Obeh counters with a slapping leg kick. Obeh stuffs the takedown. Obeh wants to clinch up but Nickoson keeps it at a distance. Good leg kick by Obeh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Nickoson misses the jab. Nickoson dodges the punch combination from Obeh.
Nickoson thows a body shot but no joy. A left and a right from Nickoson both land. Nice combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nickoson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nickoson duly obliges.
It looks like Ratrick Obeh has been cut. Obeh misses the body punch and Nickoson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nickoson. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Obeh creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Obeh using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Obeh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Obeh misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nickoson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Obeh sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nickoson shoots in but no luck this time. Nickoson takes a swing at Obeh's ribcage but misses. Obeh thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nickoson if he has to take too many more of those.
Obeh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A shot to the body from Obeh misses and Nickoson moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stalling in the clinch from Obeh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Obeh manages to break the clinch.
Obeh throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Obeh swings away with a leg kick that misses. Nickoson's corner calls for a 1-2. Nickoson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Nickoson blocks a head kick by Obeh.
Nickoson throws a right hand that Obeh ducks under and follows up with a left that Obeh also avoids with ease. Obeh throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Nickoson. Nickoson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nickoson moves nicely into side control. Nickoson controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Obeh can do anything to dispel that myth. Nickoson advances nicely into full mount. Obeh is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Obeh is looking to improve his position but Nickoson isn't that keen on the idea. Nickoson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Obeh can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Obeh wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Nickoson lands a big shot there that rocks Obeh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nickoson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Nickoson has isolated one of Obeh's arms. Obeh looking to fight him off but Nickoson twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
