Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Telly Savalas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jakes Snakes! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snakes throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Savalas's head.
It looks like Telly Savalas has been cut. Savalas misses with a few strikes there.
Savalas misses with a series of wild punches.
Savalas throws a right hand that Snakes ducks under and follows up with a left that Snakes also avoids with ease. Jakes Snakes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sloppy strikes from Savalas. Those never looked like landing. Savalas avoids a punch combination nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Snakes. Snakes feints and then cracks Savalas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Savalas down. Savalas steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Snakes. That one must have hurt. Savalas throws a right and a left that Snakes avoids nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Snakes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Savalas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Snakes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Savalas takes a step back to recover. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snakes thows a body kick. Savalas tries to catch it but that hurt him. Snakes ducks under a wild hook from Savalas. Snakes tries to clinch but Savalas is having none of it. Snakes lands with a kick to the temple. Savalas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Snakes fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Snakes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snakes tests Savalas's chin there with a solid looking shot. Snakes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Savalas is rocked! Snakes throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Savalas counter with a right hand. Oh Savalas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Snakes cracks Savalas on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Savalas falls backwards against the cage. Snakes follows up with more strikes that drop Savalas to his knees. Snakes keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Savalas! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jakes Snakes!
