Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Willy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Hitari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshi Hitari acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Willy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yoshi Hitari!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willy misses with a series of wild punches.
A swing and a miss from Hitari.
Willy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice uppercut there from Hitari.
Willy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Hitari rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hitari takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hitari throws a one two combo.

No luck for Willy with that takedown attempt.
Hitari slaps away a takedown attempt from Willy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Willy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hitari sends Willy crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hitari is motioning to the referee to let Willy up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Willy is rocked!
Yoshi Hitari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hitari cracks Willy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Oh Willy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Willy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hitari's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Willy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Big Willy.
Willy scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Willy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hitari was covering up waiting for the punch and Willy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Willy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hitari works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Willy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Big Willy has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Willy tries for a takedown but Hitari sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hitari jabs Willy right on the nose. Willy blinks but takes it well.

Willy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Willy showed some decent athleticism there.
Willy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Willy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That was a close round but I would say that Big Willy will probably get the nod.

Willy is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hitari's shoulder. That is not cool.
Willy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Willy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Willy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hitari has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hitari dodges the punch combination from Willy.
Hitari throws an overhand right that lands on Willy's shoulder, as Willy tries to avoid the shot.
Yoshi Hitari seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Willy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hitari to the mat! Hitari manages to get full guard.

Willy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hitari's guard.

Willy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hitari for as long as he can get away with.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hitari has hold of Willy's hands but Willy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Willy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well, if Willy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hitari gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Willy to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Willy is pushing down on Hitari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hitari is fighting to maintain full guard but Willy has managed to sneak the leg through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Big Willy showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Willy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
