Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guil Henrique (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Jack has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Jack seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Guil Henrique! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henrique decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Henrique is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jack tries to get out of the position. Henrique is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jack is defending against the submission attempts here by Henrique.
Henrique is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Henrique looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Guil Henrique dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Henrique fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jack tries to clinch but Henrique is having none of it. Henrique shoots in looking for a takedown. Jack tries to sprawl out of it but Henrique keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henrique misses with a takedown attempt and Jack counters with a single leg into guard. Henrique didn't expect that. Ivan Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guil Henrique. Jack drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jack jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Henrique is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Henrique has a closed guard, preventing Jack from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jack wants to control from the top but Henrique keeps moving. Guil Henrique has got the better of the ground game so far. Henrique has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jack working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack looking to sit in guard and control but Henrique gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Henrique drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jack dives on top into guard. Henrique is looking for a triangle but Jack pushes his legs off easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Henrique had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jack defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ivan Jack will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
No luck for Jack with that takedown attempt. That kick from Jack tenderised Henrique's leg. Henrique is trying to keep his angry face on. Henrique with a lazy takedown attempt and Jack counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Henrique, pushing him back against the cage. Henrique has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jack after a bit of a struggle. Henrique drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jack gets the underhooks and prevents it.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jack manages to end up in side control. Henrique is trying to work for a sweep but Jack has mounted him! Henrique is desperately trying to improve his position but Jack has a good base and remains in mount. Jack is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jack looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Jack get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack shoots in looking for a takedown but Henrique manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jack's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Henrique changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jack looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Henrique has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jack is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Henrique yanks on the arm and Jack is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Henrique.
