The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Blitzkof misses
and Blitzkof takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Turner throws a low kick but Blitzkof avoids it.

Turner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Turner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blitzkof has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Turner finds it's way round the side to connect with Blitzkof's head.
Turner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Turner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
