Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jed Masilungan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aze Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masilungan comes to the cage accompanied by Return to Strength. Toro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hate me or Get DIE tryn' - 50cent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Aze Toro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro misses with a two punch combination.
Toro lands an overhand right.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Masilungan.
Masilungan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Toro misses with a straight left.
Masilungan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Toro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Masilungan.
Toro misses with a hook.
Toro scores with a one two! Masilungan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Masilungan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Toro looks to land a combination. Masilungan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Masilungan counters with a good, hard body kick but Toro shrugs it off.
Toro lands with a hook. Masilungan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Toro uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Masilungan has time to react.

Masilungan misses with a wild combination.
Toro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Masilungan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Masilungan.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Toro tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Masilungan connects with a couple of short punches.
Masilungan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Toro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Masilungan has managed to get both his arms back between Toro's legs - danger averted.
Masilungan slips nicely into half guard.
Toro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Masilungan is working for a submission of some sort.
Masilungan prevents Toro from improving his position.

Toro is refusing to be controlled, as Masilungan sits in half guard.
Masilungan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Masilungan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Toro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Masilungan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Toro controls Masilungan momentarily but Masilungan frees himself.
Toro is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Masilungan frees his head nicely. Oh but Toro has switched to an armbar! Masilungan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
