Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagrian fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kayani to the ground. Bagrian is now in Kayani's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kayani keeping moving, preventing Bagrian from controlling successfully.

Bagrian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kayani is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bagrian throws a big elbow that misses.
Bagrian passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bagrian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kayani is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bagrian wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kayani, who protects the arm well.
Check out the look on Bagrian's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Bagrian is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kayani is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bagrian lands a few punches from side control.
Bagrian has an Americana. Kayani didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bagrian is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bagrian hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
