Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Neely !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer throws a right hand that Neely ducks under and follows up with a left that Neely also avoids with ease.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Neely .
Neely throws a hook but Boxer blocks it.
Boxer throws a hook but Neely blocks it.
Boxer scores with a jab.
Neely throws a head kick that half lands.
Boxer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Neely was well out of range. Poor timing from Boxer.
Neely pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Neely punishes Boxer's body with a nice straight punch.
Mike Boxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neely misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boxer.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Neely moves into the clinch successfully.

Neely 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Boxer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice uppercut lands for Boxer. That snapped Neely 's head back.
Boxer misses with a wild combination.
Boxer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neely on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A big left from Boxer misses.
Neely defending well as Boxer loads up on a big left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Neely . Boxer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Neely takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Neely scores with a takedown into Boxer's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Neely wants to pass the guard but Boxer is keeping the position.
Neely postures up in Boxer's guard and throws a big left but Boxer blocks it.
Neely looking to pass the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neely throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Boxer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Neely trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neely postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Neely pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boxer is keeping the position for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Neely stands and throws Boxer's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boxer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Neely has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Neely decides to stand up, so the ref orders Boxer to his feet.
Boxer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Neely moves into range and clinches up with Boxer.
Neely leaning against his opponent.
Neely is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boxer is defending well for now.
Neely tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Neely working some nice short punches in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neely lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Neely stalls.
Neely throws an elbow but it's blocked.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boxer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Neely throws an elbow that misses.
Neely has Boxer pushed against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Neely dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A head kick misses from Neely .
Neely throws a leg kick but Boxer moved away.

Boxer drops Neely with a beautiful combination! Neely stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Boxer is looking for the KO!


Neely is rocked!


It looks like Mike Neely has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boxer throws an overhand right that has Neely reeling! Boxer follows up with more punches and Neely is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mike Boxer!
Mike Boxer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
