The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diotte misses with a double jab.

Christian looks to throw the jab but Diotte is out of range.
Christian shoots for a double leg takedown but Diotte sprawls well. He's pushed Christian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jack Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diotte takes a swing at Christian's ribcage but misses.
Christian throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Diotte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Christian tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Diotte is able to avoid easily.
Diotte looks to land a left hand but Christian moved out of range nicely.
Christian is trying hard to land a takedown here. Diotte sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Christian lands a nice shot to the body.
Diotte swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Diotte stuffs the takedown attempt from Christian. Christian gets slowly back to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Christian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Diotte has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Diotte and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Christian finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Diotte's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Christian falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
