Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lan Mandragoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant has chosen Alice in Chains - Rooster as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandragoran misses with an uppercut.
Mandragoran throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Grant counters with a head kick that drops Mandragoran to the mat! Mandragoran scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mandragoran, right into the meat.
Mandragoran scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice body punch from Mandragoran.
Mandragoran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mandragoran avoids the head kick by Grant.
Mandragoran thuds his right hand into Grant's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Grant has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Grant there as he acknowledges the shot.
Mandragoran checks a low kick from Grant.
Mandragoran feints and then cracks Grant's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Grant down.
Grant goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mandragoran misses with a two punch combination.
Grant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mandragoran manages to avoid it.
Donk. Mandragoran catches Grant right on the button with a cross.
Grant throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grant wants to clinch up but Mandragoran keeps it at a distance.

Oooooh!!! Mandragoran has knocked Grant down with a huge combo! Mandragoran steps away and waves a wobbly Grant back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mandragoran is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grant.
Grant walks straight into a right hand from Mandragoran - that's dropped him! Mandragoran jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grant from any more punishment! Grant complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
