Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Bicki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Tombstone! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tombstone throws a right and a left that both miss. Bicki throws a looping overhand right but Tombstone ducks down to avoid it. The crowd cheers as Tombstone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bicki doesn't seem phased though. Tombstone tries to bum rush Bicki with a series of wild strikes but Bicki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tombstone throws a right and a left that both miss. Tombstone misses with a series of wild punches.
Tombstone scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bicki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tombstone scores with a hook. Jack Tombstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tombstone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bicki dodges the punch combination from Tombstone.
Bicki scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tombstone in his tracks. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tombstone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bicki. Tombstone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tombstone shoots in and gets a takedown into Bicki's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tombstone in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tombstone prevents Bicki from getting back to his feet. Tombstone throwing strikes but missing. Tombstone won't allow Bicki to get back to his feet. Tombstone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tombstone wants to control from the top but Bicki keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Tombstone was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bicki catches Tombstone with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! No joy there for Tombstone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tombstone throws a series of punches but Bicki moves out of range. A right-left combo lands from Tombstone. Tombstone closes the distance and clinches up with Bicki, looking for a takedown. Tombstone pushes Bicki against the cage but Bicki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tombstone misses the jab. Tombstone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bicki. Tombstone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bicki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tombstone's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sloppy strikes from Tombstone. Those never looked like landing. Bicki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tombstone sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tombstone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bicki misses with a looping left. A decent looking cross lands there for Bicki. Bicki avoids a punch combination nicely.

Nice uppercut lands for Bicki. That snapped Tombstone's head back.
Tombstone is rocked! Bicki throws out a loose jab but Tombstone uses good head movement to avoid it. Tombstone is still on wobbly legs! Can Bicki finish him? Bicki throws a lazy right hand but Tombstone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A slow jab from Bicki misses its intended target. Tombstone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bicki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Tombstone looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big right from Bicki misses. Bicki pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bicki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tombstone. Michal Bicki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bicki throws a hook to the side of Tombstone's head but Tombstone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bicki misses with a looping left. Tombstone seems to have recovered his senses. Tombstone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tombstone looks up at the clock. Bad move! Bicki lands a right hand from hell, dropping Tombstone. Bicki pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michal Bicki! An out of breath Michal Bicki thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
