Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nix throws a head kick that half lands.
Gaucho takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Nix got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gaucho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nix has managed to get both his arms back between Gaucho's legs - danger averted.

Gaucho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nix as he jumps to the side.

Nix connects with a solid leg kick.
Nix lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gaucho circles away quickly and effectively.
Nix throws a series of punches but Gaucho avoids them all with ease.

Nix feints a jab promting Gaucho to slip. Nix then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gaucho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nix looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nix moves in looking to clinch but Gaucho pushes him off.
Nix leaves Gaucho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Jon Nix showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gaucho seems to have got his legs back now.
Nix feints a jab and as Gaucho dips his head, Nix unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Gaucho right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Gaucho falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Nix smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
