Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eli Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Doom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Dixon! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon misses with a two punch combination.

Dixon keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some bone on bone action there as Dixon checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Dixon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dixon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dixon throws a series of punches but Doom avoids them all with ease. Doom shoots for a takedown but Dixon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dixon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Doom tries to clinch up but Dixon circles away and keeps his distance. That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Doom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dixon throws a right hand that Doom ducks under and follows up with a left that Doom also avoids with ease. Doom tries to clinch up. Doom doesn't manage to clinch there - Dixon circles away.
Doom shoots in looking for a takedown. Dixon tries to sprawl out of it but Doom keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dixon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Some wild striking there from Dixon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doom wants to clinch up but Dixon keeps it at a distance. Dixon scores with a punch to the head. Dixon throws a series of punches but Doom moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Doom tries to clinch up but Dixon circles away and keeps his distance. Dixon misses with a series of wild punches.

Doom tries to close the distance and clinch but Dixon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doom dodges the punch combination from Dixon.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dixon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dixon throws a nice looking combination but Doom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A head kick misses from Dixon. Dixon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Doom decides to stand back up. Doom steps back and let's Dixon get back to his feet. Dixon throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dixon misses with a few strikes there.
Doom wants to clinch. Doom shoots in for a double leg but Dixon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Doom tries to clinch but Dixon moves out of range. Eli Doom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dixon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fight stays on the outside here - Doom looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eli Doom dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Doom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dixon tries to avoid it but Doom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dixon to the ground. Dixon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dixon misses with a few strikes there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dixon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Doom throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Doom breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dixon jabs Doom right on the nose. Doom blinks but takes it well. Doom tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dixon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Dixon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dixon circles away from the clinch attempt and Dixon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dixon throws a right and a left that Doom avoids nicely. Doom tries to clinch up and Dixon counters with a left and a right that stings Doom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon scores with a leg kick.
Dixon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dixon showed some decent athleticism there. Dixon tries to stand and escape but Doom is controlling the position. Dixon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Doom has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dixon is working away from the top position though. Doom is trying to get back to full guard. Dixon stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Doom tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dixon counters with a two punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A combination from Dixon does no damage. Doom tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dixon counters with a straight right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Phil Dixon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dixon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
