The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuriev stuffs the takedown attempt from Miranda. Miranda gets slowly back to his feet.
Yuriev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yuriev throws a nice looking combination but Miranda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yuriev tries to clinch up but Miranda circles away and keeps his distance.
Miranda avoids a kick to the body.

Miranda drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yuriev pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yuriev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yuriev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Yuriev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Yuriev rushes Miranda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yuriev ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yuriev no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Miranda drops back looking for a leg! Yuriev is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yuriev manages to kick Miranda off! Miranda jumps back into Yuriev's guard.
Miranda slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Miranda is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Yuriev is surviving well by controlling Miranda's body position as best he can.

Miranda quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Miranda but it's paid off an Yuriev is forced to tap! Nice work by Miranda.
