Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Osmo Kein�nen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osmo Kein�nen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Osmo Kein�nen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg Stan!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnem�ki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kein�nen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Stan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kein�nen.
Stan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kein�nen was well out of range. Poor timing from Stan.
Stan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kein�nen circles away.

Stan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kein�nen!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Check out the look on Stan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stan lands a decent elbow from side control.
Kein�nen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Stan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stan is pressing down on Kein�nen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kein�nen is holding on for now.

Kein�nen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stan pulls his head out easily.
Kein�nen tries to roll over but Stan keeps him under control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stan connects with a nice short shot to Kein�nen's temple.
Stan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Kein�nen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stan.
Kein�nen taking some punishment here, with Stan in his half guard.
Stan drops an elbow to the side of Kein�nen's head.
Stan prevents Kein�nen from improving his position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kein�nen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stan's back!
Kein�nen is trying to stick to Stan's back but Stan is turning into Kein�nen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kein�nen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Stan.
Stan works over Kein�nen with some ground and pound from guard.

Kein�nen is looking for a triangle but Stan pushes his legs off easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stan throws a big elbow that misses.
Kein�nen has momentary wrist control but Stan slips an elbow through the middle.
Kein�nen trying to keep a closed guard but Stan is proving a slippery customer.
Stan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kein�nen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Kein�nen throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Kein�nen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stan defends well.
Stan cracks Kein�nen with a solid left hand.
Kein�nen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stan's guard.
Kein�nen preventing the sweep.
Kein�nen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kein�nen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stan seems keen to control Kein�nen's posture.
Stan tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stan working for a triangle but Kein�nen defends it easily.
Kein�nen trying to control the position from guard on top but Stan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kein�nen wants to control from the top but Stan keeps moving.

Osmo Kein�nen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Stan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kein�nen tries to clinch there but Stan circles away.
Stan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kein�nen.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Greg Stan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Stan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kein�nen swivels and escapes.
Stan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kein�nen.
Stan shoots for a double leg takedown but Kein�nen sprawls well. He's pushed Stan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Kein�nen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stan!
Osmo Kein�nen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Stan.

Kein�nen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kein�nen sprawls well initially but Stan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Oh Kein�nen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kein�nen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Stan postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kein�nen covers up, he's hurt! Stan keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Stan and the ref steps in to end the fight! Stan can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
