Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ash amos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. King Dick has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with ash amos's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
amos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dick pinned against the cage. Dick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

amos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dick manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now amos has Dick in his guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Maybe amos would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
amos jumps guard but Dick stands there with amos around his waist. amos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. amos smiles and moves away.

amos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dick's guard.

Dick had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. amos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dick Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take amos's back instead.
Dick is trying to stick to amos's back but amos is turning into Dick. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dick's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by amos.
