Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez comes to the cage accompanied by Emperor's Dawn. Dallas Bond acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richard Martinez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Dallas Bond! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez lands an overhand right. Martinez throws a solid leg kick but Bond takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Martinez. Bond lands with an overhand left. Bond chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Martinez can pounce on him.
Bond misses with a body kick. Bond pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Martinez back to the cage. Bond follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Bond throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bond connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bond fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Bond avoids the head kick by Martinez.
Martinez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bond. Bond gets cracked there but stands up to it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bond missing with a left hand there. Martinez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bond scoring well with a low kick there.
Bond walks into a left hand. Martinez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond feints and then cracks Martinez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Martinez down. Martinez takes a swing at Bond's ribcage but misses. Bond staying out of range there. Martinez shoots in but no luck this time. Martinez thuds a left hand into Bond's body. Bond uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A nice inside leg kick there by Bond. That's going to slow Martinez down. Dallas Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Martinez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Martinez tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bond blocks a head kick by Martinez.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bond scores with a head kick. Martinez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bond tries to bum rush Martinez with a series of wild strikes but Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bond tries to land a leg kick but Martinez saw it coming and moves away.
Bond throws a leg kick and Martinez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bond won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Martinez working the head and body with strikes. Bond regains half guard. Bond won't allow Martinez to pass to mount. Martinez working Bond over with strikes. Martinez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bond defending well though. Martinez is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ground and pound from Martinez. Martinez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bond is trying to stand up here but Martinez is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Martinez wants to free his trapped foot but Bond is holding on for dear life with his legs. Martinez thows a huge punch but Bond dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bond defending well though. Martinez seems to be working for a kimura but Bond defends the submission attempt. Martinez with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Martinez wants to control but Bond is keeping him busy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Martinez wants to pass the guard but Bond is defending well. Martinez is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Martinez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bond throws a hook to the side of Martinez's head but Martinez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Martinez moves out of range of the strikes. Good work by Bond as he checks the leg kick. Bond uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bond thows a left - swing and a miss! Martinez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bond checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Martinez.
Martinez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bond moves out of range of the leg kick from Martinez. Martinez lands with a straight right. Bond didn't see that one coming. Bond throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Bond pivots, looking for a leg kick but Martinez is out of range and Bond settles back down. Martinez uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond throws a head kick that misses. Bond jabbing away but nothing is landing. Martinez looks for the body kick but Bond saw that one coming. Bond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martinez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bond tries to score with a low kick but Martinez moves his leg out of the way. Martinez slips a straight right by Bond. Martinez keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Martinez throws an overhand right that lands on Bond's shoulder, as Bond tries to avoid the shot. Martinez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bond's calf. An inside leg kick lands from Martinez. Martinez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bond sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Martinez somewhat. Bond throws a sloppy head kick and Martinez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Martinez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Martinez trying to control but Bond is working from the bottom. Martinez with a flurry of punches that miss. Martinez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Martinez trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bond looking to control.

Bond takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Bond has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Martinez. Bond stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bond wants it to stay on the feet. Martinez clobbers Bond with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Martinez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bond swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Martinez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bond can pounce on him.
Dallas Bond has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martinez checks a leg kick. Bond swings away with a leg kick that misses. Bond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Martinez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Bond looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A low kick from Bond misses and Martinez counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bond! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Martinez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Martinez working the ground and pound but Bond is defending the strikes. Bond manages to work his way to half guard, despite Martinez's best efforts. Bond keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bond avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Martinez. Martinez not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bond trying to control but Martinez postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Richard Martinez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Martinez is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bond reverses the position - he's now on top in Martinez's guard. Martinez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Martinez looking to control.
Martinez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bond can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bond is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Martinez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bond scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. And that's the end of the fight! Richard Martinez showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Martinez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
