Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kangaroo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Kangaroo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Dean! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dean decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kangaroo is trying to get back to full guard. Dean controlling the pace. Dean tries to pass to full mount but Kangaroo defends it. Kangaroo trying to hold on to Dean's head to control him but Dean postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kangaroo looking for submissions off his back. Dean performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kangaroo is trying is best to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dean is thwarting Kangaroo's attempts to control the position. Dean takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Dean stalling. Kangaroo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dean trying to pass the guard but Kangaroo defending well. Dean trying to advance position but Kangaroo counters by regaining guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kangaroo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kangaroo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kangaroo keeping moving, preventing Dean from controlling successfully. Dean is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dean wants to control from the top but Kangaroo keeps moving. Dean should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dean looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tom Dean has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Dean throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kangaroo was covering up waiting for the punch and Dean finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dean wants to control from the top but Kangaroo keeps moving. Dean throws a strike but Kangaroo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Dean throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kangaroo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dean is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kangaroo is fighting to break Dean's control of his arms but Dean is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Kangaroo trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom. Dean throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dean not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kangaroo trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dean wants to stand up but Kangaroo is controlling him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kangaroo trying to control but Dean is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Dean dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kangaroo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kangaroo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kangaroo swings widly with a right hand
and Dean moves into the clinch. Kangaroo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dean moves to clinch but Kangaroo breaks away and Kangaroo counters with a good low kick that Dean was not able to check. Dean is looking to clinch. Dean lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kangaroo circles away quickly and effectively. Kangaroo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dean misses with a takedown and Kangaroo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Kangaroo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tom Dean has got the better of the ground game so far. Dean is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kangaroo sitting in guard here, content to control. Kangaroo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kangaroo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dean seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Dean looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kangaroo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nice takedown defense from Kangaroo. No joy for Dean on that attempt. Ken Kangaroo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Dean. Kangaroo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dean walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kangaroo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Dean shoots and misses and Kangaroo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Kangaroo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Kangaroo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dean doesn't seem phased though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice uppercut lands for Kangaroo. That snapped Dean's head back.
Kangaroo throws a body kick that misses. Dean walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice cross by Kangaroo.
Dean is rocked! Kangaroo fakes the body blow, causing Dean to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Dean goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ken Kangaroo!
