Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Uzumaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips comes to the cage accompanied by Wicked game. Uzumaki has chosen Animal I Have Become as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Naruto Uzumaki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Naruto Uzumaki!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzumaki avoids the body shot from Phillips.
Uzumaki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Phillips throws a big shot that misses.
Phillips changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uzumaki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Phillips cracks Uzumaki with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Uzumaki is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Uzumaki looks winded!
Phillips is looking to take a break and control but Uzumaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Uzumaki takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Phillips cracks Uzumaki with a big right hand but Uzumaki just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Uzumaki takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Phillips lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Uzumaki down.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Phillips remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Phillips is working to tighten is grip on Uzumaki's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Uzumaki has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Phillips is really squeezing tight and eventually Uzumaki passes out! Phillips breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Mark Phillips!
After the fight, Mark Phillips was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
