Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryle Joaquin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Jupiter!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jupiter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joaquin on his heels. He'll look to pass Joaquin's guard now, I'm sure.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Joaquin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jupiter won't allow Joaquin to sweep him here.
Joaquin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jupiter controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jupiter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jim Jupiter wasn't active enough on the ground.
Joaquin is looking to land body kicks.
Jupiter feints and as Joaquin raises his hands in defense, Jupiter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jupiter is in close to Joaquin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joaquin is looking for a triangle but Jupiter pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Joaquin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jupiter passes into side control.
Joaquin takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Jupiter scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Joaquin is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Jupiter can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Jupiter!
Jim Jupiter got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
