Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Trade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yoshi Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Trade!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Suzuki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Nice takedown defense from Trade. No joy for Suzuki on that attempt.
Suzuki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Yoshi Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suzuki closes the distance and clinches up with Trade, looking for a takedown. Suzuki pushes Trade against the cage but Trade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Trade lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Trade throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Trade. That's going to slow Suzuki down.
Trade feints a jab promting Suzuki to slip. Trade then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Suzuki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Suzuki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Suzuki fails with the takedown.
A slapping leg kick lands for Trade.
Suzuki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown but Trade shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That kick from Trade tenderised Suzuki's leg. Suzuki is trying to keep his angry face on.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trade but Trade pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Trade feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Suzuki's calf.
Trade with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trade lands a nice leg kick that just misses Suzuki's sensitive parts.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Trade, right into the meat.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Suzuki. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Trade lands a leg kick that knocks Suzuki off balance momentarily.
Trade fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Trade stuffs the takedown attempt from Suzuki. Suzuki gets slowly back to his feet.
Trade thumps Suzuki with a low kick.

Suzuki shoots in for a double leg but Trade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Trade turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Trade throws a leg kick which misses Suzuki's front leg but catches the back leg as Suzuki tries to avoid it.

Suzuki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Trade is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Suzuki is trying to control the action in half guard but Trade is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Trade trying to hold on to Suzuki's head to control him but Suzuki postures up.

Suzuki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Trade trying to control here.
Suzuki prevents Trade from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Trade gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Trade dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Trade buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Suzuki shoots in and drives through. Trade sprawls well.
A nice inside leg kick there by Trade. That's going to slow Suzuki down.

and Trade counters with a shoot takedown. Suzuki fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Trade lands a couple of elbows.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Trade postures up in Suzuki's guard and throws a big left but Suzuki blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trade accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Trade is looking to stand up but Suzuki won't let him.

Suzuki is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Trade has his hands clasped together but Suzuki extends and breaks Trade's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Suzuki.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yoshi Suzuki!
Our winner, Yoshi Suzuki, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
