The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCormick avoids the body shot from Giorgio.
Giorgio throws a push kick but McCormick slaps the foot to one side.
McCormick throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nice takedown defense from Giorgio. No joy for McCormick on that attempt.
McCormick moves in looking to clinch but Giorgio pushes him off.

Giorgio feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
