Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Mean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jim Mean has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jim Mean seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Mean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitchell Guzman! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guzman gets a double leg takedown into Mean's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mean is on top in guard.
Mean content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Guzman trying to control the position.
Mean passes Guzman's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mean moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mean scores with punches from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Guzman tries to improve position but can't. Mean is chipping away with strikes.
Mean landing a few strikes.
Guzman is rocked! Mean tries for a kimura but Guzman is defending well. Guzman is still in real trouble! Can Mean finish him? Mean is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guzman has escaped the position, nice work there. Mean has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guzman takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Mean scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Guzman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Mean can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Mean! An out of breath Jim Mean thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
