The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinkaid misses with a takedown
and Irusta holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Irusta jumps guard and drags Kinkaid to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kinkaid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kinkaid stops Irusta from standing up.
Kinkaid drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Irusta dives on top into guard.
Kinkaid looking for a guillotine here but Irusta defends easily.
Kinkaid working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Irusta has passed into half guard!
Kinkaid is in trouble now - Irusta has advanced to mount!
Irusta looking to control but Kinkaid is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kinkaid is bucking up trying to escape but Irusta cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Kinkaid is looking to improve his position but Irusta isn't that keen on the idea.
Kinkaid avoids a series of strikes thrown by Irusta.
Irusta in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Irusta trying to control but Kinkaid is having none of it.
Kinkaid sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Kinkaid is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Irusta pulls his head out easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Irusta connects with a nice short shot to Kinkaid's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Irusta is posturing up here but Kinkaid has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Irusta tries to roll out but it's too tight and Irusta has to tap! Slick submission there by Kinkaid!
