Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merrimac Mjolnir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix. Mjolnir is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Die for Metal. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

32 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Merrimac Mjolnir!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mjolnir tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Knight has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mjolnir finds it's way round the side to connect with Knight's head.
It looks like Rockford Knight has been cut.
Merrimac Mjolnir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mjolnir lands with a hook. Knight tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Knight scores with a jab. Mjolnir acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Merrimac Mjolnir has been cut.
Mjolnir is looking to chop away at Knight's legs.
Mjolnir misses the jab.
Mjolnir digs a good body shot into Knight's ribs.

Mjolnir slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Knight lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mjolnir at a distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Mjolnir checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Knight swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Knight throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mjolnir moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mjolnir ducks under a wild hook from Knight.
Knight lands a jab to Mjolnir's midsection.
Knight connects with a leg kick. Mjolnir looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Mjolnir moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Knight thumps Mjolnir with a low kick.
Mjolnir takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mjolnir throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mjolnir misses with an uppercut.
Knight throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knight misses with an uppercut.
Mjolnir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knight keeps the fight on the outside.
A big right from Knight misses.
Mjolnir cracks Knight with a good jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mjolnir tries to land a front kick but Knight steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mjolnir throws a lazy right hand but Knight sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Knight swings for the body but Mjolnir moves out of range.

Knight throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Knight moves out of range as Mjolnir throws a body kick.
Mjolnir throws a wild body kick that Knight sees coming a mile off.

Mjolnir keeps Knight at a distance using the push kick.
Mjolnir throws a lazy uppercut
letting Knight counter with a right hand.
That has opened up Merrimac Mjolnir's cut even more.
Knight lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Knight misses the shot to the body.
Knight takes a swing at Mjolnir's ribcage but misses.
Knight moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Knight lands with an uppercut that bounces Mjolnir off the cage and back into range.
The cut above Merrimac Mjolnir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mjolnir looks to land a right hand but Knight moved out of range.
Knight connects with a nice looking jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knight moves out of range of the strikes.
Mjolnir is looking to chop away at Knight's legs.
Mjolnir displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Knight throws out the jab.
Knight lands a big uppercut and Mjolnir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mjolnir looks OK. Knight waves Mjolnir back to his feet!
Mjolnir is rocked!
Merrimac Mjolnir's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Merrimac Mjolnir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rockford Knight!
After winning the bout, Rockford Knight thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
