Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tomasz Drwal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drwal moves out of range of the body kick.
Kilpinen defending well as Drwal loads up on a big left hand.
Kilpinen slips under a jab from Drwal.
Drwal missing with a left hand there. Kilpinen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kilpinen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Drwal's calf.
Kilpinen thuds a left hand into Drwal's body.
Tomasz Drwal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilpinen scoring well with a low kick there.
Kilpinen throws a jab but it's blocked by Drwal.
Drwal uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kilpinen.
Drwal sizes up Kilpinen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Drwal ducks right into an uppercut from Kilpinen.
Drwal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Drwal misses with a left hand
and Kilpinen counters with a leg kick.

Kilpinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drwal moves away.

Drwal loads up on a big right hand but Kilpinen slips the punch.
Kilpinen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kilpinen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Drwal eats them both and turns towards Kilpinen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kilpinen lands a nice hook to Drwal's body. Drwal takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Drwal checks a leg kick.
Drwal misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kilpinen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Drwal's knee momentarily.
Drwal scores with the left hand. Kilpinen knows he should have avoided that one.
Drwal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Drwal walks into a jab.


It looks like Tomasz Drwal has been cut.
Drwal misses with a looping right.
Kilpinen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Drwal looks to score with a jab to the body but Kilpinen is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drwal. Kilpinen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kilpinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Drwal throws out the jab.
Kilpinen cracks Drwal with an open hand slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kilpinen throws a solid leg kick but Drwal takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kilpinen.

Kilpinen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drwal sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Drwal lands with a straight right. Kilpinen didn't see that one coming.
Drwal moves away from the strike by Kilpinen.
Kilpinen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Drwal. That did some damage!

Kilpinen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Drwal throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Kilpinen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Drwal scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kilpinen has a couple of punches blocked by Drwal.

Drwal's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kilpinen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Drwal on the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kilpinen, as that shot connected.
Drwal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kilpinen.
Kilpinen swings away with a leg kick that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kilpinen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kilpinen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A big right from Drwal misses.
Kilpinen scores with a decent looking hook.
Drwal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kilpinen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kilpinen scoring well with a low kick there.
Left hook, right uppercut from Drwal.
Drwal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drwal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kilpinen manages to avoid it.
Kilpinen is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Drwal had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A telegraphed right hand from Kilpinen misses the target.
Kilpinen connects with a right hand. Drwal shakes it off.
Kilpinen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Kilpinen throws a leg kick which misses Drwal's front leg but catches the back leg as Drwal tries to avoid it.
Kilpinen avoids the body shot from Drwal.
Drwal scores with a shot to the body.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kilpinen. Drwal shrugs it off though.
Kilpinen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Drwal fails to land with a series of punches.
Kilpinen looks to land a combination. Drwal sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Drwal is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Drwal throws a looping overhand right but Kilpinen ducks down to avoid it.
Drwal throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Drwal has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kilpinen finds it's way round the side to connect with Drwal's head.
Drwal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilpinen was well out of range. Poor timing from Drwal.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kilpinen. That's going to slow Drwal down.

Drwal is rocked!

Drwal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oh Drwal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drwal moves out of range as Kilpinen throws a body kick.
That kick from Kilpinen tenderised Drwal's leg. Drwal is trying to keep his angry face on.
Drwal seems to have got his legs back now.
Kilpinen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Drwal stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kilpinen connects with a crisp jab.
Drwal connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kilpinen's hands.
Kilpinen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kilpinen tries to bum rush Drwal with a series of wild strikes but Drwal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Drwal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Drwal walks into a straight right hand from Kilpinen.
Kilpinen moves out of range of the strikes.
Kilpinen lands a front kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Whack! Kilpinen lands a heavy head kick that drops Drwal. The ref tackles Kilpinen to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Drwal was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jaakko Kilpinen!
A very excited looking Jaakko Kilpinen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
