Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Han Solo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marty Block!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Block gets caught flat footed, as Solo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Solo stopping the sweep attempt from Block.
Block throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Block trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Block wants to improve his position but instead Solo has moved into half guard.
Block is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Solo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Solo's back!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Block tries to free his leg and advance position but Solo is retaining full guard.

Marty Block comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Block has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
