Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damien Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stardust Corpsegrinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Penn there as he acknowledges the shot.
An inside leg kick lands from Corpsegrinder.
Penn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Penn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Corpsegrinder can pounce on him.
Corpsegrinder lands a leg kick that knocks Penn off balance momentarily.
Corpsegrinder lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Penn at a distance.
Corpsegrinder throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A combination from Corpsegrinder does no damage.
Corpsegrinder throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Corpsegrinder tries to score with a low kick but Penn moves his leg out of the way.
The fighters circle momentarily. Corpsegrinder darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Corpsegrinder clinches up with Penn and pushes him back against the cage.

Penn ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Penn no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Corpsegrinder is fighting to break Penn's control of his arms but Penn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Corpsegrinder moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Penn tries to keep at a distance but Corpsegrinder has taken the fight into the clinch.
Penn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Penn is trying to drag Corpsegrinder to the mat but Corpsegrinder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Penn wants a takedown but no success here.
Corpsegrinder has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Penn goes down! Corpsegrinder dives on top of him - Penn manages to get guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Penn controls Corpsegrinder momentarily but Corpsegrinder frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stardust Corpsegrinder dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Corpsegrinder ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Corpsegrinder throws a head kick that misses.
Corpsegrinder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Penn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Corpsegrinder. Penn shrugs it off though.
Corpsegrinder is looking to clinch.
Corpsegrinder takes the fight into the clinch.
Penn tries to pull guard but Corpsegrinder won't allow it.
Corpsegrinder is trying to maintain a safe position but Penn gets an underhook and turns Corpsegrinder into the cage.
Penn manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corpsegrinder tries to free his leg and advance position but Penn is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penn is on top in guard.
Corpsegrinder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Penn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Corpsegrinder is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Corpsegrinder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Penn is one step ahead there.
Penn drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Penn seems to have locked his on tight now - Corpsegrinder screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Penn, as he picks up the win!

Damien Penn was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
