Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Mark Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hojo Yoijimbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoijimbo has chosen Them Crooked Vultures - Elephants as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoijimbo throws a sloppy head kick and Kyle moves out of range easily.

Kyle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Yoijimbo at a distance.

and Kyle counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Yoijimbo!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Yoijimbo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kyle moves into full mount!
Yoijimbo is working to get back to half guard.

Kyle goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Yoijimbo is on top in guard.
Kyle looking for a sweep. Not yet Kyle, not yet.

Kyle is working hard here to advance position.
Kyle wants to improve his position but instead Yoijimbo has moved into half guard.
Yoijimbo prevents Kyle from improving his position.

Kyle looking for a kimura from the bottom but Yoijimbo passes into side control!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kyle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yoijimbo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kyle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yoijimbo swivels and escapes.
Yoijimbo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kyle throws a lazy uppercut
and Yoijimbo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Yoijimbo scores with a head kick.
Yoijimbo lands a leg kick that knocks Kyle off balance momentarily.

Hojo Yoijimbo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Kyle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Yoijimbo connects with a leg kick. Kyle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kyle throws a series of punches but Yoijimbo moves out of range.
Yoijimbo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yoijimbo doesn't manage to clinch there - Kyle circles away.
Yoijimbo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kyle if he has to take too many more of those.

A jab from Kyle finds it's way through Yoijimbo's defenses.

Hojo Yoijimbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Yoijimbo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kyle postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Yoijimbo's head off the mat! Yoijimbo is out! He's out! Kyle jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

After the fight, Takeru Mark Kyle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
